Giving a voice to all
We strive to make thought-provoking documentaries about the people within our multi-cultural society so we can understand each other better and build stronger relationships.
More than just a production company
New Zealand has more ethnicities than there are countries in the world. We are a multicultural society that over generations is blending this diversity into a unique national identity – a Kiwiness.
We believe in documenting this process as a way of embracing what makes us different whilst highlighting the challenges faced when these same groups undergo culture changes from living together.
The concept of ako
Ako is the reciprocal learning relationship where each person feels their contribution is valued and can participate to their full potential.
The verb akoako
By embracing the principle of ako, we strive to make documentaries shaped by the knowledge of diverse groups so that new knowledge and understandings can grow.
